We are a professional bureau that provides language services to companies and public agencies that need to optimise the communication and seek a flexible, effective and quality service.
Since Linguacom was created in 1999, its founding partners have amassed more than 15 years of experience in the business, in the course of which the world of communication has undergone a spectacular upheaval, particularly in the emergence and expansion of the social media and a growing need for companies to keep their communications permanently updated.
But not everything has changed: because we continue to provide services based on the quality and the communicative efficacy of the finished product, as well as painstaking and personalised customer management, aspects that we take particular care of.
Graduate in Catalan philology. Of my professional record, I would highlight that I was in charge of the Language Service of the PIMEC, patronal de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa de Cataluña [Employers Association of Small and Medium-Sized Companies of Catalonia], a collaborator of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans in the DIEC review process, and language planner of the Department of Employment of the Government of Catalonia.
In my business management training process, I felt that it was indispensable to promote personal values in the company. For this reason, several years ago I entered the world of coaching and now have a Master in Integral Coaching. To my mind, it is a basic tool for having a good relationship with your team of collaborators and evidently with clients. It enables us to have effective communication, greater action capacity and motivation and ultimately to achieve efficient teamwork.
I hold a degree in Journalism and have trained as a Community Manager. I studied at the Université catholique de Louvain, within the framework of the Erasmus programme.
In the professional world, I have worked as a copywriter in communications media such as the newspaper Ara, Rac1 or el Singular Digital since 2010. In the Public Administration sector, I worked in the Communication Department of the Barcelona City Council as a writer and publishing contents manager.
At Linguacom I am responsible for the social media and the corporate web, and also for writing copy.
The Linguacom multidisciplinary team is comprised of graduate and native translators, writers and designers, all of them with experience in the world of communication.
Linguacom’s collaborators, besides holding a degree, have to pass a translation test in order to ensure that they fulfil the required quality standards.
